I should point out that Jackson Publick himself did many of the drawings on the pages posted here, with me inking the final art. Mr. Publick is one of those renaissance men, producing, directing, co-scripting, designing, boarding and voicing each and every episode of the VB saga. How he has time to work with the homeless, teach Muy Thai and cater gourmet lunches every Friday at the producing studio is beyond me, but he manages!
Tomorrow, the final two pages of my tutorial, with lessons on drawing Hank and Dean, and perhaps a few models I designed for Season 3. See you then, and many thanks for all the kind words you've left since last night.

Very, very nice. Entertaining, insightful as to what makes the show really work, and a good guide to basic cartooning at the same time. Thanks for posting these.
this is almost too awesome for words. Thanks!
Stephen,
good to see you posting again! This tutorial was a god-send this season. Second only to being able to work with you directly. Thanks.
Danny
Are these drawings for model sheets or an actual book? Whatever they are, they're very funny, and well done stuff!
Hilarious!
Man, sometimes I get so jealous of you storyboard people! I wish I could do some drawing for the show. Don't tell Liz I said that! I love color! Really!!!
