A very Floyd Gottfredson MR. MXYZPTLK (this is how I orignally wanted to draw him for DC's BIZARRO, several years back), some Woody, Barney and one of Bud Blake's characters (drawn during a particularly dull meeting) and POPEYE AND OLIVE, hyperstylized (I haven't posted this before, have I? I don't think I have. No, I'm pretty sure not.)
I just finished watching some of the supplemental stuff on the Popeye DVD set, and enjoyed it immensely. Anyone out there that loves Popeye really should do themselves a favor and get the set, it's quite good.

wow! the kid from TIGER (Bud Blake design) takes me back. I haven't thought about that strip for years. it was very well drawn tho. nice total cartoon recall!

Really love what you've done with those designs! My favorite sketch might be the one of Barney...I always liked it when he looked a little stupid.

i had a question for ya too! i just got one watching the popeyes [i might have 3 left] and i wondered...when does the jeep come in? i remember him being in there around the same time as the goons right? next set p'raps? the jeep rocks, i love your drawing of him on the packaging!
