Possibly I saved Don's drawings because they were the creepiest. In a good kind of way.
Yes, Don did lay out on "An Abe Divided", supervised by Mike Kim. Not a great cartoon, but one of the better looking productions from a DeStefano storyboard, in my opinion.sdestefanohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15329638332748593829noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-32390006.post-44200503185052657592007-04-19T21:38:00.000-07:002007-04-19T21:38:00.000-07:00Weird how I zeroed in on Don to feature on my blog...Weird how I zeroed in on Don to feature on my blog.
I don't know why, but I have more doodles of his than anyone else from the Spumco days.

Don Shank is among the best of our modern cartoon artists.

Speaking of which, didn't Shank do most of the layouts for Ren & Stimpy's "An Abe Divided"?Yeldarb86https://www.blogger.com/profile/10131603833394294520noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-32390006.post-30370119424456370962007-04-18T19:58:00.000-07:002007-04-18T19:58:00.000-07:00Not 'brilliat'.Brilliant.That's what I meant. Not 'brilliat'.
Brilliant.
That's what I meant.sdestefanohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15329638332748593829noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-32390006.post-3716612352744473882007-04-18T19:37:00.000-07:002007-04-18T19:37:00.000-07:00Ryan,yes, good.
